Description: This chapter examines whether racial anti-discrimination policy is really about immigration and integration in the EU context, or whether it is more related to other European anti-discrimination policies and generally distinct from the study of migration and citizenship. The author considers the implementation of the race directive in Austria, Belgium, France and Germany in depth and includes data from country-expert reports commissioned by the EU on the eleven other 'old' EU member states.
