IMoViS: A System for Mobile Visualization of Intrusion Detection DataAuthor(s): Claudio Fornaro, Andrea Sanna Publication: Simulation Reuse and Interoperability Date of publication: 2003 From Page 235 to 249 Description: This paper presents an integrated security framework to visualize intrusion detection data on personal digital assistant (PDA) devices. The authors explain that the proposed security system is tailored for monitoring computer intrusions in large buildings, where spatial data information can be organized in hierarchical ways, by monitoring either the entire building or individual rooms. The paper explains that for the integrated security framework, an ID system is used to detect attacks and intrusions and to store the collected information in a database and that all information is processed by guardian software that produces the actual data to feed the visualization application.
